Nu Groove Records - 10-Mar-08 09:42 AM
Well, i have been hunting like a maniac in the last 2 years, i bought my first Nu Groove record in 1992, & didn't like it so much at that time, i was more into hardcore back than.
I got me half the catalogue now,& Yes, my taste has changed with time, & i do love some of the Nu Groove releases!
This label stands for a variety of house genres, from really nice deep house, wicked breakbeat tracks, even some rave tunes, techno, & the early releases have some hiphouse tunes as well.
Great respect for this label, & my favorite Nu Groove records are , Jimmy Crash - Crash Course, Project "86"* - Industrial Bass, Lost Entity - Lost Entity.
If you see a Nu Groove record, take a listen, you might be suprised by the tune thats playing!!

Hithouse Records - 10-Nov-07 06:53 AM
Famous Dutch house label started way back in the beginning of the 1990's.
Founded by Mr.Hithouse himself: Peter Slaghuis.
Sadly Peter Slaghuis died due to a car accident , but still lives on in many records he left with this excellent label.
The early releases are all great records,& most of them were played to death in the Dutch & Belgiumdancescene .
A great 'classic' Mainx - 88 To Piano is from this label & was a huge anthem in the Rotterdam dancescene mainly in the club 'Parkzicht'.
Talking about Parkzicht, Holy Noise - The Nightmare , & Meng Syndicate - Sonar System (Aw, Aw) were bassicly adopted as the Club's Sound & were played many times in 1 night.
My favorite track from this label is Holy Noise - Get Down Everybody (Remixes),But almost every release is worth checking out.
I love this label, & if you like the old hardcore techno 1991 sound, check this label out!

Automation - The Remixes - 28-Jul-07 05:43 PM
This is one of the best records of all times (till now), at least thats my opinion.
But it is in my top 10 for shure!
This is a rare record, and it took me more than 12 years to finaly get one copy!
I was a lucky man when i found it in a bargain bin for only 2 euro's.
But lets talk about the music...all 4 tracks are pure masterpieces, but my favorite track is Espionage (Remix).
Awsome breakbeat with that typical mellow organ sound that really fills the dancefloor when played.
Add some bleepy sounds ,a fat rolling bass to it, & bang!, there is the track that has me gripped 15 years ago.
Doomsday (Remix)is also a real crowd pleaser, a happy tune, with a funky piano riff, but so lovely & still hardcore.
Buy this record!!

Noisee Boyz - Elevator EP - 04-May-07 04:47 AM
One of the early releases of UMM records, most people know this label for their deephouse & tribal releases, but in the early 90's the styles where not so seperated as they are now.
Let me tell you, this is a dirty record, 4 tracks are like this, Sounding dirty, nasty basses & scary sounds. There is just 1 deephouse tune on this record.
Most Illogical is a U.R like song, with samples from Mr Spock from star Trek.
Quadra Wave is just a sick tune, distorted , warehouse style.
But the winner for me is, Noise.
Superb dark track, scary as hell, filled with acid & kiddy voices, lalala-la.
Get this record if you can, lovely dark oldschool stuff !

Various - Old School Hardcore - 24-Mar-07 01:49 PM
A nice piece of classics on this double cd, all the tracks that where any important or big in the (Dutch) scene are on this cd.
On this album are the hardest tracks from 1992, but also a few classics, like Humanoid - Stakker , Mainx - 88 to piano ,World Part - Forget it.
A decent cd , if you want to know what was hot in the 'old day's' this is the cd that you want in your collection for shure.
