There's now an option to save submissions for later reference. When you're viewing a history page you can click the "Save this submission" and it will be added to your saved list. If it's already saved you can click the "Don't save this submission" link to remove it from your saved list. And if you're inside the submissions browser just press the s hotkey to quickly toggle the save status.

There's also a new option in preferences, "Auto-save submissions after I comment or vote". When you have this enabled it will automatically save every submission after you post a comment or vote. To get to your saved submissions list there is a new link for it in My Discogs (only visible when you have a saved submission). This function will take the place of viewing "items I've voted on" and "items I've commented on" as it's more flexible and can be used for many more scenarios. If anyone wants everything they've commented/voted on added to their saved submissions please PM me and I'll add them for you. And please specify if you want comments, votes, or both. thanks SmotheredHope wrote:
Finally, indeed. It's a mystery why this wasn't implemented at the same time as the v4 launch.

Ok - pre v4. So it doesn't really "take place of viewing "items I've voted on" and "items I've commented on" as put by teo since that feature was removed with v4.

if i have autosave and i vote on the submission, it is in "Saved Submission". And there, i can vote again and again. i also cannot remove the item when i'm in "Saved Submissions". there i can only save the submission again. Chamleon edited this message about 1 month ago. oparischka wrote:

e.g. http://www.discogs.com/history?release=145266#latest appears as entry 535 in my list Time of last comment: 2 days ago List shows: changed by tom over 2 years ago It is more useful to order by the time of last activity rather than last change. md wrote:
There are no moderators, how can being something that doesn't exist get more simple? The first one I clicked on produced an error saying something like "there was an error/a problem saving this submission". SmotheredHope wrote:

It's when I'm browsing within the Submissions framed section: http://www.discogs.com/submissions?mode=saved If I'm at the saved submission, then go back in and click Don't save this submission it remains in my Saved list. I guess it's the framed browsing that's causing it. SmotheredHope wrote:
Chamleonif i have autosave and i vote on the submission, it is in "Saved Submission". And there, i can vote again and again. Could this have something to do with why there are 4 EI votes which seems to be made at the same time here? auto-converted long url Or why are there 4 EI votes placed at the same time from the same voter? [edit] - maybe that's because there were several edits done by the submitter though... sorry SmotheredHope edited this message about 1 month ago. JTWolfe wrote:
How do you unsave a Saved Submission when the object is removed? I contributed a Y/N vote to a release and due to preferences it automatically marked as saved. Now the release shows as "The majority vote was in favor of removing this release", but there does not appear to be any way for me to "unsave" it and get it out of my saved list.

As a side note, on voted submissions where the result was "The majority vote was in favor of not removing this release" and the object is not in draft, the option to "unsave" exists.

hey ummm, can we have releases that appears in the on the left hand side frame in saved submissions, my contributions, my collection, etc pages formatted into a list that's sortable by artist or something? it just bugs my eyes out seeing all those releases not in any kind of order and depending on what i'm looking at, there could be alot of titles. just a thought.
